The Premium Stay Flat mat is an innovative design of a photographic mat designed to withstand extreme weather conditions.
The backing board is made of a proprietary HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) and the top mat is a traditional 4ply acid-free slightly linen-textured matboard. The backing board allows for photographic prints to slide in easily with specially built-in guides to lock the print in place, eliminating any slippage.
Suitable for use with lustre, gloss and most fine-art photographic papers.
Premium Stay Flay Mats are approx. 40% thicker than our Traditional range of mats and almost double the weight giving them a premium feel.
Full packs (25 mats) of Premium Stay Flat Mats include a Print Shoe Horn to assist with print insertion and 3M double-sided micro-thin sealing tabs to permanently fix your valuable prints.
Premium Stay Flat Mats are currently only available in white and Slip-in Vgroove style.

When your client’s beautifully matted images leave your studio, they are most likely going to showcase your imagery to their family, friends & colleagues. Don’t go unnoticed! This is the perfect time to advertise your photography business by branding your logo on each mat and stand out in front of potential new clients. This is the most effective & cost efficient method to brand your business.
You have the choice of position: front bottom right or front bottom centre. Back of the mat branding is not possible on Premium Stay Flat Mats due to the rigid nature of the proprietory backing material. Also, your logo can be branded to suit vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape) images.
There is a minimum order of 50 mats for each different mat/print size. However, you may split the quantity into vertical and horizontal image position.
i.e. If ordering 100 white traditional 11×14 mats for 8×10 prints, you can split the 100 into 80 Vertical and 20 Horizontal or 50V/50H etc.
A Mat Logo Block is required for this service, this involves a first-time setup.

By far bottom right corner is the most common position for mat branding. Your logo can be branded bottom right on the mat for both vertical (portrait) and horizontal (landscape) images.
